As Gilcrux continues to grow its quantity and quality of startups, Fearon realizes the need to dedicate a seasoned captain for his flagship startup, Dropmysite. Within his ranks, there is no one more qualified than El Ansari, the Google and Dell veteran with leadership stints around North America and Asia.

“The Dropmysite business is moving into a more mature business stage and we felt it was the right time to bring in an experienced executive to help with this,” says Fearon, CEO and Founder of Gilcrux. “Charif has a highly relevant background and I have full confidence that he can grow the Dropmysite business into a leading online SaaS company.”

In 2012, El Ansari left Google for Dropmysite to lead its efforts in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Now with the management shuffle, El Ansari has returned to Singapore to take over the daily duties of Dropmysite.

Along with his impressive resume and wide network of contacts, El Ansari will build upon the great work already done on email, website and database cloud backups.

“Global cloud storage will grow 4X by 2016 and with 41% of the online audience in Asia, backing up the Internet from Singapore has a lot of potential,” says El Ansari, recently appointed CEO of Dropmysite. “I look forward to building on the achievements of John (Fearon) and the team.”

El Ansari’s move will bring even more credibility to the startup that aims to backup the Internet. By bringing an experienced executive into the top position, Dropmysite will attract more top talent, tie up more enterprise partnerships and push out more backup products.

Still in the alpha stage, the team aims to launch it in November and interested users can sign up on the website for early access.

Having El Ansari as the CEO at Dropmysite with this management shuffle, Fearon will be given the bandwidth to focus on building more great Gilcrux businesses. Besides Dropmysite, Gilcrux has 7 startups like ApexPeak,EatAdsKluje and with more on the way.
