Aglasem – An all-in-one Student Guidance Portal

AglaSem (a combination of two words: Agla, meaning next in Hindi, and Sem, meaning semester, as in college semester) is a free and easily accessible online platform catering all the information that the student community of the country needs the most.

AglaSem strives to provide information, updates and preparation material of school studies, entrance exams, college admissions, government jobs, talent search exams, olympiads.
The company aims is to give free access to updated and authentic information for the benefit of all student community. All their services are free of cost to the student community. This includes information access, taking online tests for practice, study notes and other material.

Students and their parents always need information regarding educational institutions. With the growing number of colleges and coaching centres, the need to stay informed has become more than before. The company makes this information freely available at the fingertips making the whole process smoother and easier. Started with a certain age group, prominently class 11 and 12 students, the company now targets even younger students to empower them with relevant information

Founding Team

AglaSem was started as a website to help college students prepare for semester exams in the year 2009. It is the brain child of Mr Anand Meena, a graduate from Delhi Technological University (formerly DCE). More of a workaholic than anyone you could probably meet, Anand likes to keep things simple and uncomplicated, something that has been incorporated in the core functioning of AglaSem as well.

While the formation of Aglasem, Mr Anand was joined by one of his brilliant batchmate at DTU, Ms Anwesha Bose. Giving shape to words and creating crisp designs are some of the things she likes to do. Her vision is to see the company grow into the ranks of the internet giants, and is actively working to make that happen.
