AutoUnite is a vehicle research website which gives real people the power to share prices and information on new vehicles. Their mission is to provide the public with a platform where they can share their personal auto related experience to help other buyers make an informed purchase decision. It was conceived back in 2015 by two executive managers that work for an auto dealership. On a daily basis they saw the frustrations of the car buying process and the information that is not available to the public is very difficult to find on the internet. They wanted to create a platform in which people can communicate their auto related experience in a way that is easy for other people to research information. The number 1 question at a dealership from a customer is “What is the best price out the door” this number is very difficult to get and customers spend hours upon hours looking for this number. TrueCar, Edmunds, KBB are price comparison and information websites in which the dealerships control pricing does not provide this information and customers will attempt to contact the dealership by phone and it is also difficult to obtain pricing. None of these programs include all fees depending what state you register so dealerships will misguide some customers into paying additional fees. On the flip side customers use this price to start negotiation with dealership which makes it difficult to negotiate with the customer. Most customers do not believe in the buying programs online and will believe a friend or family member that bought a similar car before listening to the dealer. AutoUnite was created for the purposes of the public to easily find information they want about “Out the Door Prices”, lease monthly payments with fees inclusive, finance & insurance costs, service costs, parts & accessories and actual reviews of the models by customers not paid authors.
