Coursebirdie is an educational tech startup that offers on-line classes, networking events, case studies, workshops and a wide range of resources to startups, managers and aspiring entrepreneurs. They cover topics from business, design and technology as innovative technologies and new designs are the platform to a new world economy. It was initially started out in May 2011 as a Q/A website for students taking decision on college admission, course selection and resource website for Indian entrepreneurs.The company started off well, but in the midst of 2012 it was failing to find the traction. Then In April 2013, they pivoted their business model towards developing a platform that would promote entrepreneurial education to startups and entrepreneurs.
It helps startups and entrepreneurs all the education, guidance, support, resources and network they require to start and grow their new or existing business with far less of a time commitment than any b school. Currently they are looking to grow at a rate above 40% yearly. They have partnered with Indian Institutions and looking to make more technology partners in India and the UK. At the moment, they are doing free classes, workshops and events with the support from their great sponsors. In near future, they plan to introduce some paid ones.
