Now you can easily add your friends and distribute the expenses of the last night party among them. Furthermore, you can send out an email report so they know how much they have to pay you back or vice versa.
Abhishek Dilliwal (Founder), living with his flatmates in mumbai used to track overall expenses with the help of notepads and excel sheets and realized that there are no simple web-based/cross-platform tools for splitting the expenses among friends. It was then, in 2011, Abhishek with some of his friends Saransh, Nikhil, Vivek, Varuna, Abhinav started working on this app. It was previously known as TheHisab, but later changed to Expenses when it was released for the general public.
The app boasts of more than 10K users as of now and aims to reach millions a couple of years from now. The future looks promising with the Chrome App already in place and the mobile app in the pipeline. With youngsters driving most of the traffic on the web app, Expenses is definitely going to gain popularity. An app as simple & as good as this one has gained a lot of publicity only through the word of mouth. Abhishek believes in this app also tells us that in the coming years he plans add several new features to the app.
