IndianPrice.com – Price Comparison with a “Value for Money Indicator”

IndianPrice.com, a leading Price-comparison shopping website, today re-launched in a new avatar, with a complete redesign focused on user experience and introducing features to make the buying decision even easier. Never before seen features such as the “Value for Money Indicator”, the ability to filter product prices based on the color of the product you want and quick comparisons with alternatives set apart the new IndianPrice from the competition.

The Value for money indicator shows whether for example a mobile phone is worth the money that it is retailing for in the market. This is done by comparing it with the average price of mobile phones in the market with similar specifications and based on its current retail price it is determined whether the mobile is high, low or average value for money. The below graph indicates the percentage distribution of High / Average / Low Value for Money mobiles across top seven brands in India. The data is based on all mobiles of these brands that have prices and are currently available in the market.

The color filter is important if you want to buy the phone in a particular color, so you can quickly see which online stores are selling that phone in that color and at what price. No other comparison shopping site in India currently has this feature either.
A comprehensive and accurate list of products in the market, the ability to filter products based on a variety of parameters quickly, and the lowest and widest prices from online stores mean that IndianPrice is the fastest and most comprehensive way not only to choose a product but also save money buying it.

“A few months ago we decided that we need to focus on user delight more than anything else. We know that the internet is about solving the users need and whoever does that best usually wins. Our strategy going forward is clearly aligned to being the best for the user in whatever we do, and we feel that with the launch of this revamped site we are one step closer in our vision.” The director of Accentium Web, the company which owns IndianPrice.com said.
