Isskool helps students anonymously write review for their engineering college and provide real feedback about their college. Students can rate colleges on faculty competence, administration, infrastructure, placement, extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. It aims to empower students and make an informed decision with regards to education. There are 1000s of colleges in India. Unlike in USA, there is no ranking system for colleges in India that covers all colleges. India Today and Outlook India provide ranking for only top 75 colleges in India. What about the remaining 1000s of colleges? This thought process led to the birth of Isskool which help students to make an informed decision with respect to educational colleges. It provides a structured way to review college. Reviews are provided by students who are currently studying in the college, thereby providing first hand information about the college. Apart from current students, college alumni can also provide review for their college.
Isskool has been started by two friends Sri Harsha and Sreekanth. They aim to be the “Yelp for Indian colleges”. They foresee it as a portal that will cater to the needs of student in every phase of student life right from choosing a college, studying, graduating, finding a job, studying abroad etc. Apart from the college reviews they are providing video lectures and information about the college events across India.
Geekopedia wishes Isskool best of luck for future endeavors.
