MoneyFrog – Your Own Financial Planner

MFMoneyfrog helps individual track their investments, plan finances & life goals online through this dynamic portal and 24/7 call-centre, managed by qualified advisors. Only thing the customer has to do is to upload his/ her financial data & activate his account, which initiates a dynamic report& planning, that speaks customer language & strictly as per customer requirement.

Before starting the venture they undertook a survey to validate customer’s sentiment towards this requirement, where it was found that everyone wanted this kind of a package & ready to pay for the same. Hence this idea & venture of providing a financial planner was initiated, which will offer all financial products under one roof, accessible online & strictly as per customer’s requirement.

They offer investment tracking towards all asset class, offer innovative tracking tool like “Life Goal” tracking with asset flagging, created “Market Place” to view & pick latest market offerings, offered “My Post” to interact with advisors online 24/7, view “Dashboard” to see all investments under one page & many other features. To sum it up, the entire offering makes life easier for a customer towards investments & finances, and above all offers advice, strictly based on 360 degree approach or need based, which is online or through call-centre by qualified advisors.

Manoj Chahar is the Founder/CEO of Moneyfrog which is one of the emerging start-up companies in the field of financial planning. Prior to this entrepreneurial venture with, he has had corporate stints with Kotak Securities Ltd, IIFL & Philips India Ltd. He holds an MBA (PGDM) degree from Symbiosis (SIMS) Pune. His interests include birding, swimming, & adventure activities.

Mushtaq Kazi is the Co-Founder of Moneyfrog. He has worked along with Manoj throughout his corporate career has had corporate stints with Kotak Securities Ltd & IIFL. He holds an MBA degree from Pune University. His interests include cooking, gardening & photography.

They have created a unique market place, where this model will work on three stages:

  • Customer acquisition or customers at one end
  • Financial planning & recommendation or Moneyfrog in the middle
  • Product fulfillment or Franchise at the other end

Three years down the line, they want to be seen as the number one player in the financial segment, with their presence in top 20 cities. They have already initiated the Franchise route to expand from Jan 2015, & are planning to appoint 100 franchises in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad & Chennai by June 2015.

They have a two tier revenue model, where 1st customer pays money to subscribe to this model annually & second through product selling (third party distribution), which is recommended based on customers need & planning.
