Neuros is the first social network for medical students, doctors & all health care professionals, which is also integrated with a study center. Users can connect with similar professionals around the world socialize and at the same time study, share, discuss & chat on various topics which are common interest.
Neuros was founded in Sept 2011 but officially launched on Apr 2012. This unique platform, which provides an opportunity for the entire medical professionals to connect with each other, is currently running in the beta version. They are working on rolling out the few more innovative features that will make medical studies much easier with people able to socialize. Since the venture is first of its kind in India so they have tried to incorporate all the essential features that are expected by the medical professionals.
This medical social network has been co-founded by Dr. Waiz Wasey & Ravi Kiran. Dr. Waiz Wasey (Co-Founder & CEO) – is a medical doctor and runs a small web & graphic design company. Being from the medical field, Dr Waiz Wasey understands the profession very deeply and hence has included all the features for all the problems faced by him and his fellow members. He graduated in 2011 and wanted to do higher studies in medical filed from US in coming years.
Ravi Kiran (Co-founder) is a computer science engineer and runs his own web development company. Ravi Kiran being well versed with the technology works hard to make this product a world class medical social network. The venture is very promising as it has right mixture of both medical and technology know-how which will make it a great success in the coming years.
They publicize mostly through Facebook ads and run a Facebook page for latest updates on their product. Once they are ready with the new design which will be launched soon then they plan to do advertising through Google ad sense, college to college tours and also planning to run TV ads to reach to the wider masses.
