Neuros being the first social network for medical students, doctors & all health care professionals, which is also integrated with a study center about which we cover a story some time ago are adding milestones after milestones. Read earlier story here. They recently came out of beta with the improved version making it the first such professional network launched from India. Read about improved version story here. Now they have come out with the launch of a mobile app providing its users more comfort and opportunity to link up on this smart network.
The mobile app is said to be in alpha version, but consists of the main features on which Neuros was built. The app allows its users to log in and browse the news feed to see what new discussions or questions are being asked. It also allows its users to answer, discuss or ask new questions. Once logged in the user can also upload photos to the specific subject groups or browse the new uploaded ones. There is also the ability to follow or unfollow groups from the app.
The app however, doesn’t allow viewing of profiles as of yet, but the founders say this is the next step after they improvise profile features on the main website. Like most apps, there is a notification feature which pops up when someone has interacted with the user or with a group the user is subscribed to.When asked, the founders said
“This is only a small step in the vast sea of features yet to come.”
This bootstrapped startup has truly been delivering more than expected, with new Qbank & testing features to be launched soon.
