SaaS startup, Zarget, raises $1.5 million in seed funding
Chennai based SaaS startup, Zarget, that provides Conversion Rate and Optimisation Softwares, has raised $1.5 million in seed funding from Accel Partners and Matrix Partners. Fresh desk’s CEO, Girish Mathrubootham also participated in the round.
The funds will be used for research and development (R&D) and for introducing more products in the future. By the end of the year, the firm plans to launch one more product, Parthiban added. The company also plans to raise funding through a Series A round by the end of 2016.
Zarget gives you the stats and analytics to help you influence buying behaviour of your website visitors positively. The company brings innovation into an industry that had not seen any significant creative advances in years, and to break marketers’ dependency on developers to optimize and run tests that had existed prior.
Zarget offers unique features such as A/B testing, Heat Maps and Funnel Analysis. However, Zarget’s unique solution lies in its Chrome plugin, and in its all-in-one conversion suite. This all-in-one suite includes heatmaps, scrollmaps, and funnel analysis, plus A/B testing and split URL testing – Basically, all the modules you’ll ever need for end-to-end conversion rate & website optimization, in one package.
Here’s an overview of the suite
“Zarget is essentially helping companies refine and perfect their customer experience, which is key for any firm that wants to be successful in this day and age,” said Anand Daniel, partner, Accel Partners.
Zarget was founded by Santosh Kumar, Naveen Venkat & Arvind Parthiban, 3 ex-Zoho employees, who quit their lucrative jobs to pursue something different. Following their vision of providing solutions to problems, they came up with this New Age Website Optimization tool. The company aims is to simplify website optimization to the modern world and streamline the optimization process to make it more efficient for marketers.
