India’s most popular travel app, Ola announced today that they are extending the capabilities of Ola Money. Starting today, you can now pay to additional merchants using your Ola Money.
Yes! the Ola Money you used to pay your Ola cabs can now be used for payments atLenskart, Oyo Rooms, Saavn, Zopper, Busindia, Zoomin, with just one touch! The money you have on the OlaCabs app, is fetched by the merchant app when you’re checking out. Hit ‘pay’ to confirm, and you’re done!
In addition, Ola customers will also get exclusive benefits while paying through Ola Money e.g. 40% cashback on bookings at Oyo Rooms.
With this move Ola has also entered in the Payment Business. Ola had earlier extended its footsteps in Food Delivery Service(Ola Cafe) and HyperLocal Delivery Service(Ola Store). The company had also acquired TaxiforSure, a similar radio cab booking servce, recently.
Ola boasts an amazing 20 million customers on its platform. With this new mobile wallet service, Ola Money will become one of the top 3 mobile wallets in the country as assessed by transaction volume.
