Paradise Experiences is a company which specializes in providing custom dining experiences in Bangalore market. They are targeting people who are looking to celebrate their b’day , anniversaries and other occasions in a special manner via a complete package. Their typical experience includes a chauffeured BMW car ride, exclusive candle lit dinner at a 5 star restaurant and flowers with cake to celebrate the special occasion.
The company was started in September,2014 after a initial test marketing where they received good response from the customers. Based on the learning’s from the test market the company started accepting bookings from December on-wards. Addressable market size is huge as many people in Bangalore are having high disposable income and are looking at special ways to celebrate their events. In addition they are also focused on corporate gifting market where companies can gift the experience packages to their employees.
The company is run by Rahul Huliyappa whose desire was to get into the premium services. He also run a chain of Quick service restaurants (QSR) called as Hulliyappa’s Biryani in Bangalore. After leading a successful business he always had a desire at trying out a luxury service. In the past he had also worked for IT services company Tory Harris as a Project Manager.
Their idea is to get this service working for 6-8 months in Bangalore before expanding the same into another market.They believe that Bangalore is the right market as many people are keen to experiment and have high disposable income.
As of now they make a small mark up on the overall price of the package. As volumes grow they hope to get better rates from the restaurants and then they will start making money out of this service. They have tied up with the best restaurants in Bangalore and a good service provider for taxi . They are sure that once people start experiencing their packages there will be super growth.
