Candid Connection provides you with the opportunity to exchange honest feedback with your friends, while protecting your privacy. This provides a means for sincere communication and allows you the opportunity to gain self-awareness and transform into the kind of person you want to be. If you have ever wondered how you make your friends feel, Candid Connection will provide you the answers.Candid Connection allows you to log in using your Facebook credentials and quickly creates a profile for you, mirroring your basic Facebook profile. Once set up, you are free to, publicly or anonymously, provide feedback to your Facebook friends who have also set up a profile with Candid Connection. You can also invite your friends to download the app, comment on & like your friends’ feedback, and see where you rank against your friends on the Leaderboard.

Chiraag Mutreja, founded Candid Connection in April 2015. He was personally disappointed and frustrated at the negative impacts social media was having on genuine human interaction. Out of that frustration, Candid Connection was born and was developed as a potential solution to encourage honest and genuine communication while embracing technology at the same time.Being company’s sole founder he is responsible for the concept, marketing, and design. The development and testing of the app has been outsourced to a team based out of India. He works closely on a frequent basis to ensure that the app is being built as per specification and that it is being thoroughly tested to ensure the best user experience.At the moment, there is no app in the market that encourages honest communication while protecting the privacy of individuals. There are several apps in the market which encourage anonymous communication between strangers which in many cases results in cyber bullying and trolling. Candid Connection offers a safe platform where friends can exchange honest feedback to help improve their self awareness and ultimately transform into the people they truly want to be.

The Candid Connection app is free and will always be free for their users. Additionally the app will remain ad-free to provide the users with the best possible user experience. The initial goal is to gain popularity and build a loyal user base. From them on, they will look to offer in-app purchases and possibly enter the online dating market, allowing users to opt-in for a monthly subscription. At this stage however, the focus is to provide a seamless user experience and a free app.

In future they plan to introduce an activity log which will allows users to see how their friends are interacting on the app (similar to a Facebook News feed). Additionally, there are plans to introduce the ability for users to post specific questions/polls for which they are seeking feedback. There is also a potential opportunity to explore the online dating market as users will be able to find out what others think of an individual before they decide to date them. There are several potential ideas in the pipeline which they hope their early adopters can help us prioritize.
