Raveendran says “ Technology is playing a good role in making learning more interesting”. By the use of smartphone as one of the devices for access, the app had got so many users of it coming around top 10 cities in India. Byju’s aims at creating a habit of autonomous learning for the students. The app has about more than 1,20,000 students paying for it and also the number of users gets added about 20,000 in number every month.
Byju’s has recently raised about $50 million which was co-funded by Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan’s investment arm. Currently, the app has around 250,000 subscribers using in an average of about 40 minutes a day and it is working. A survey set up had found that 80 % of the parents said it has improved their children’s learning skills dramatically.
Byju is working hard in creating a strong product that helps students make them learn in a more effective way and also believes it should come from India.
