Test prep Startup MockBank secures $400K from Blume Ventures & Others
Online test preparation Startup MockBank has secured $400K in a fresh seed round of funding led by Blume Ventures.
Others that participated in this round of funding include Singapore-based angel fund Mercatus Capital and angel investors such as Slideshare Co-founder Amit Ranjan and Bain & Co. India Chairman Srivatsan Rajan.
Last month, US based Online education platform, Coursera, secured $49.5 million in Series C funding by Times Internet (TIL), New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and other investors.
MockBank is a Bangalore based company focused on making its students succeed in various bank job entrances. The company’s most popular offering is Online Mock Tests for banking examinations. They primarily focus on creating the best mock test experience for banking competitive examinations.
The company claims to have about 100,000 users, about 5,000 among them being paid customers. The cost of their study material starts at Rs 150 and ends at Rs 6,000, depending on the services.
