Voonik is Cofounded by Sujayath & Navaneeth in January 2013. Sujayath did his MBA from ISB and have worked at Visa (VP) and Amazon (Sr. Product Manager) prior to Voonik. Navaneeth has 12 years of startup experience including Zoho, Fresh Desk, and Aryaka. Rest of the Voonik team has come together from companies including Amazon, HP Research Labs, IBM, Fresh Desk, and Aryaka and from institutions including Indian School of Business, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras Institute of Technology, Pearl Academy of Fashion, and Image Consulting Business Institute. Sheetal, Bhavya & Apurva are the stylist who brings in more than 20 years of experience in fashion. They are the one who provide the style recommendation to the users depending upon the body type & style preference of the user.
In coming years, Voonik wants to be the India’s top fashion platform with millions of users generating multi-million dollar revenues .Currently they charge 10% to 20% commissions for the purchases that happen on their website. Sujayath says Voonik is primarily a data company that happens to be in the eCommerce domain.
