Wishberg startup lets you Share your wishes, reviews and experiences

WishbergWishberg lets users build and manage their one wish list for Life. Users can put everything that they want to buy or own in one beautiful wish list, it’s their shopping cart for life. Wishberg also allows users share their wish list with friends and family. It helps you to discover what people around you are wishing, their experiences and reviews. They announced the public beta for Wishberg in November 2012. However they got started with their product back in June 2011, the earlier version of same was called Tyched. The product was very text based and their first iteration of a wishlist product. It lacked adoption, but they spoke with a number of users that got them important feedback to get started with Wishberg. The original idea behind Tyched was to allow users to discover common wishes in a closed network. The focus of Wishberg now is to help users build, manage and track their personal wishlist for life. They think of wishlist as a shopping cart for Life.

Wish

They still are building the product and iterating faster to incorporate user feedback. While most wishlist products are built with affiliate monetization in mind, that is not our focus. They are building it with user in mind. They personally want to see Wishberg to evolve in an intent graph for a user in years to come. Currently they don’t think much on the monetization side although couple of options they can consider going forward but working on that now would mean distraction from the product development. Thus their current focus is simplifying the product, improving the engagement and distribution.

Geekopedia wishes Wishberg best of luck for future endeavors.
